What does 'Enhanced by Liylah' mean?
Some of the gowns we carry start out sheer, sleeveless or have other components that deem them not the right fit for Liylah. Rather than skip over these treasures, we enhance them by altering the gowns to be perfect for you..
Can I try my gown on before I need it? (before the 10-day rental period)?
YES! We know sometimes not having the dress hanging in your closet for your important event is nerve racking. That’s why we give you a trial option! If you are reserving your gown on liylah.com, you can try your gown on at home and then send it back to us with in 48 hours. (Monday-Thursday trials) . For instance, if you receive it on Monday it must go back out by Wednesday. If you choose not to rent the gown, you will be refunded the full amount less shipping and handling. If you choose to rent the gown, you still need to send it back to us but we will make sure it’s at your doorstep again 10 days before your event . You will not be charged another rental fee.
What if I damage my rental?
Wear and tear is understandable, so are minor tears or loose beading. That’s okay, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and send it back as is. However, if your dress is deemed damaged beyond repair, you will be responsible to pay double the retail price, The retail price of the dress is listed on the product page. If your gown or dress is damaged excessively you will be responsible for the repair costs.
What if my dress is lost or stolen?
You will be charged double the retail price listed for your rental in the event that a Liylah dress is lost or stolen.
What if I don’t send my dress back on time?
On time means in the hands of the carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx) that is printed on the return label provided by Liylah on or before your specified return date or in the case of a trial within 2 days from the date you receive the rental. The first day late will be a $75.00 charge to your original form of payment. Every day thereafter will be a $95.00 charge to your original form of payment. After a dress is 7 business days late you will be charged double the retail price listed on our product page in addition to the daily late fees.
Shipping & Handling
We use the most economical shipping carriers to keep costs down for you.We provide you with the return label to make the rental process simple .You may call the shipping carrier for a pickup or drop off at your nearest shipping location. Inside the original box is a prepaid return label. Just put that on top of the original shipping label.

When you receive your dress, it will be brand new or will have been professionally dry cleaned for you. You simply return to the gown to us after your event, worn and unwashed. We’ll take care of the cleaning!
Must I return the over the shoulder garment bag as well?
Dresses must be returned in their original garment bag. But we know they’re so cute, so we’ve also gifted one in the box folded up untouched just for you to keep!
What if I reserve my gown and then change my mind?
We will help you chose a different gown and we will happily change the reservation to a different available gown for you. However we don't offer refunds of any kind.
Are all of the policies the same if i'm renting/reserving my gown in the Liylah showroom?
No. Unlike when you reserve your dress at Liylah.com and have it shipped to you, we do not offer trials for gowns reserved in the Liylah showroom. All other policies are the same. All reservations made in the Liylah showroom are non refundable.
Do you do returns?
If you change your mind for whatever reason, we will issue a Liylah credit which expires after 6 months. Credits are non transferable. Alternatively, you can chose a different gown that is available for the dates you need . If your reserved gown cost less than the new gown, the remaining balance will go toward a Liylah credit. If the reserved gown cost more you will be charged the difference.
Do you allow alterations?
We DO allow TEMPORARY hems on the length ( for both sleeve length and dress length) of MOST but not all gowns. Please see the specific dress description to see if you are permitted to hem your gown. All gowns with permitted temporary hemming will have the below symbol in the description.

Sales, Coupon Codes and special offers
Discounts of any kind can not be applied retroactively on previous purchases, reservations, or rentals.
Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer.
The lowest amount collected at reservation for a custom rental is at minimum half of the rental price. This cost is non-refundable. Fabric swatches are only ordered after said non-refundable amount is collected. If you choose to not have Liylah, LLC design and create a gown or dress from you after you’ve paid the collected amount, the non-refundable amount still remains.
You must return the product by returning to a UPS or USPS location depending on the carrier printed on your label or to the Liylah showroom at 2503 Farringdon Road Baltimore MD 21209 by 12pm on or before the date that the product is due.
In-store rentals are due within 10 days of rental. Online rentals are due within 14 days of rental.
Merchandise left or loss
Liylah, LLC is not responsible for any personal property left in the returned bag.
Place gowns back in garment bag immediately after use to protect gowns from damage.
If you do not pay the amounts you owe to us when due, then we will need to institute collection procedures. You agree to pay our costs of collection, including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees.
Refusal of services
We reserve the right to terminate your right to rent Products from us at any time in the event of Your breach of this Agreement or for no reason or any other reason in our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
LIYLAH, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH IN NO EVENT SHALL LIYLAH, LLC (OR ITS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS) BE LIABLE TO YOUR OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, MULTIPLE OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR FOR LOSS OF USE OF DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES RELATED THERETO, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF LIYLAH, LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES. YOU ASSUME SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU AND/OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PRODUCT DURING YOUR RENTAL PERIOD.
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and Liylah, LLC with respect to the subject matter hereof and is the final, complete, and exclusive statement of the terms of Agreement, superseding all prior written and oral agreements, understandings and undertakings with respect to the subject matter hereof. Modifications may only be made by Liylah,LLC. We reserve the right to terminate or amend this Agreement at any time for any or no reason, effective upon notice to You of such termination or amendment. The waiver of any term or condition or any breach thereof shall not affect any other term of condition of this Agreement.
Our failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these Terms.
Liylah, LLC, Liylah.com, Liylah, Liylah Rental, assume no responsibility for typographical errors of any kind. Liylah.com and Liylah LLC have the right to change pricing on products at any time. Liylah or any employee of Liylah, LLC have the right to deny a rental for any reason deemed valid by Liylah, LLC.
